Responsibilities

  • Lead content strategy from conception to execution across multiple channels, including email, blog, social media, ad campaigns, web content, landing pages, videos, infographics, packaging, flyers and more.

  • Own social media strategy and develop a new plan, which increased Instagram engagement rate by 2,762% in the first month.

  • Collaborate with marketers to develop various email campaigns, including one that decreased customer cancellation rate by 9% and increased sales by 21% in the first month.

  • Produce all promotional content for new product launches, including the new Wireless Doorbell Camera, which sold over 1,000 units in the first five months and had an 8% reduction in return rate compared to the previous model.

  • Spearhead SEO content strategy to improve the organic search rank of 412 target keywords and generate over 3,500 backlinks in seven months.

  • Create over 250 email campaigns with open rates as high as 138% and click-through rates as high as 17%.

  • Produce monthly newsletter and upsell emails in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager, generating an average of 350 orders per month.

  • Partner cross-functionally with the creative team to update content and design for five main web pages and 22 product pages, resulting in 19% increase in website traffic.

  • Complete various on-brief content projects for several stakeholders across multiple channels.

  • Lead content marketing meetings with team members, stakeholders, and executives to present insights and align on strategy.

Email

 

I wrote the email below for the Retention Marketing team in order to incentivize customers to renew their contracts. We saw great results with a 2.5X lift in incremental renewals and a flat cancel rate vs. control. On an annual basis, we projected to save between 325 – 700 customers, resulting in $165K - $350K RMR retained net revenue

 

After discovering that 17% of Frontpoint customers cancelled due to a move, the Retention Marketing team asked me to craft an email (shown below) that showcases how easy it is to move your Frontpoint system with you. After sending this email to 10K customers, we saw an increase in contract renewals by 8% and a decrease in cancellations by 9%, plus an increase of 21% in sales. We projected to save about 560 customers on an annual basis by implementing this campaign, resulting in about $270K RMR retained net revenue.

Updated Web Page: Why Frontpoint

 

I worked with Frontpoint’s web designer to redo various pages on our website, including our Why Frontpoint page. The CMO wanted a long-form page that showcased our main proof points and was optimized for search. After testing, it was confirmed that the new version we created performed better.
